OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are investigating three separate shootings that ended with three people dead and another one seriously injured Wednesday night.
The first shooting was reported at about 6 p.m. where a man was found dead in the 2700 block of N.W. 12th St. after neighbors said they heard gunshots.
“We have one white male who appears to be in his early 30s that is deceased,”OKC Police Lt. Don Holland said. “The only information that we have right now is that it appears to be a domestic dispute situation.”
Police have detained several people for questioning including a wife, a father and a husband of those involved.
“It’s too early in the investigation to say who shot who and why,”Holland said. “The CSI units and the homicide detectives are on scene and are investigating it now.”
Neighbors in the area said they heard loud arguing followed by three gunshots and another neighbor even tried chest compressions on the victim.
Investigators said they are not sure if the shooting took place inside the home or if it happened in the yard.
“We do have someone of interest in custody who was involved in this domestic dispute but it’s early in the investigation and we’re not sure what they role is and if this is a self defense situation or something more sinister,” Holland said.
Less than two hours later, a person was killed and another injured in a shooting on the 6500 block of W. Wilshire.
One of the victims, now identified as 27-year-old Michael Ray Wilson, Jr., was killed.
The second victim, 34-year-old Trivoil Morris, is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said the two men were inside an apartment when someone opened fire outside.
Lawmen said these two shootings may have been related.
They’re asking anyone with information on this case to also call the homicide tip line (405) 297-1200.
Finally around 10 p.m. police were called to another deadly shooting on the 800 block of E. Eubanks where a man was shot inside his home.
Authorities said the shooter fired his or her gun from the outside.
Police have since identified the victim as 40-year-old Santorrio Ramsey.
