CHICKASHA, Okla. – Officials are investigating after finding the body of an 18-year-old man behind a Chickasha restaurant.

Law enforcement agencies, including the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, responded to the scene Monday morning to the area behind Dairy Queen near N 8th and Choctaw.

Officials with the Chickasha Police Department say 18-year-old Arnold Adams III was found with a gunshot wound to the torso.

“His girlfriend noticed him missing from the house, went outside and found him outside the house. That’s really all we have at this time,” said Assistant Special Agent In Charge Lynn Williams with the OSBI. “This is a good ‘who done it?’ right now.”

Williams said Adams left the home just before 3:30 a.m. When he did not return, his girlfriend went outside and found him.

At this point, no arrests have been made.
