Man convicted of killing Weatherford teen sentenced

CUSTER COUNTY, Okla. — A man convicted of killing a Weatherford teen was sentenced on Monday.

Last month, a jury found Tucker McGee guilty of first-degree murder and recommended life without parole. TuckerMcGee

Tucker McGee is convicted of killing 16-year-old JaRay Wilson in October 2012.

Prosecutors say he shot her in the head along a rural county road.

He and two other teens buried JaRay’s body the next day.

14 months passed before one teen came forward and broke the case wide open.

On Monday, Judge Douglas Haught followed the jury’s recommendation and sentenced McGee to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
