CHEROKEE, Okla. – An early morning earthquake rattled northwest Oklahoma, and some neighbors to the north.
It happened around 1:53 a.m. Thursday close to the Oklahoma-Kansas border.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake was centered 17.9 miles east of Cherokee, Oklahoma.
According to U.S.G.S., the quake had a 4.1 magnitude.
