OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police are investigating after a man was found dead on a southwest Oklahoma City street around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

According to Lt. Clint Teel of the Oklahoma City Police Department, Lance Canter, 26, of Blanchard, Okla.,  was found dead on the east side of Pennsylvania Ave. just off of SW 56th St.

Police say Canter was pronounced dead at the scene and it appears he was shot to death.

There are no arrests in this case.

OKLAHOMA CITY – A homicide investigation is underway after a body was found on a southwest Oklahoma City street around 2 a.m.

According to Lt. Clint Teel of the Oklahoma City Police Department, the body was found on the east side of Pennsylvania Ave. just off of SW 56th St.

No identification has been made, but police have confirmed that the body is male.
